A Hockinson house was damaged early Monday morning in a fire that started in a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
Firefighters from Clark County Fire District 3 and Vancouver Fire Department responded to the home, in the 18000 block of N.E. 174th St., just before 5 a.m.
The fire extended to the second floor, according to fire officials.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
