Tax workshop planned

The Washington State Department of Revenue will host a free workshop in Vancouver for small business owners to help them understand about the state’s excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. July 16 at the Department of Revenue’s training room, 8008 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Suite 340. A workbook and reference guide will be provided to participants.
