A Wilsonville, Ore., man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault Saturday in connection with stabbings at a large Fourth of July party on Government Island.
Brandon R. Cullen, 36, was booked on three counts of first-degree felony assault.
Officers from several agencies responded to the party, according to a news release from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, members of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s River Patrol Unit were dispatched to the west end of Government Island following the report of several possible stabbing victims.
Officers from Port of Portland Fire Department, Portland Fire Bureau, Gresham Police Department, Troutdale Police Department and Fairview Police Department also responded.
