The Parks Foundation of Clark County is accepting nominations for the Florence B. Wager award.
Established in 2011, it recognizes three categories of local leaders. Awards will be presented at the Parks Foundation’s meeting and luncheon June 3 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
The categories are:
• Leading Eagle, recognizing a community leader who has led initiatives and significantly impacted parks and recreation programs.
• V-Formation Flyer, recognizing a volunteer who goes above and beyond.
• Tributary, recognizing a parks professional for innovations.Nomination packets are available at www.parksfoundation.us or by calling 360-487-8370. The deadline is April 1.The awards honor Wager, who died in 2012 after years of service in Clark County.
