Katie Whitten scored half of her 20 points as the Wildcats outscored the Cougars 19-2 in the second quarter to take control.
“They jumped on us, then we came back,” La Center coach Herm VanWeerdhuizen said. “We just wore them down.”
Whitten also had seven steals and six assists for La Center. Shelby Vermuelen had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Andrea Griffee also scored 11 points.
Lizzie Sheldon led Seton Catholic with nine points.
