Wet weather has delayed work on two major road projects in Clark County, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
A planned closure and relocation of northbound Interstate 205 in Salmon Creek has been pushed back to Friday night, according to WSDOT.
Crews now plan to close the freeway at Northeast 134th Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, according to WSDOT. During the closure, workers will shift the northbound side of I-205 40 feet to the east. The realignment will make room for a new overpass and interchange at Northeast 139th Street as part of the $133 million Salmon Creek Interchange Project.
The work was originally scheduled to start late Tuesday. The closure won’t affect southbound traffic.
