DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Langston Galloway banked in a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds to play to give Saint Joseph’s the 60-57 win over Dayton Wednesday night.

The Hawks (14-6, 4-2 Atlantic 10) had trailed by five at halftime, but surged ahead by 15, 47-32, with 10 minutes to play.

A 3-pointer by Devin Oliver started a comeback for the Flyers (13-8, 1-5), who tied at 57-57 when Dyshawn Pierre scored with 11 seconds left.

After working the clock down from 9 seconds, Galloway banked in the winning 3 with 1.8 seconds on the clock. It left enough time for Dayton’s Jordan Sibert to fire a shot from beyond halfcourt that hit backboard and rim but didn’t fall. Sibert led the Flyers with 21 points, Oliver added 16.

Chris Wilson scored 15 points, Galloway and Ronald Roberts 12 each in SJU’s first win at Dayton since Feb 21, 2001. The Flyers have lost four straight.
