MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Police in the southern Oregon city of Medford say they have arrested a 41-year-old Gold Hill, Ore., woman accused of stealing more than $140,000 from the business where she worked as a bookkeeper.
Police said Loretta Lynn Floyd was arrested Wednesday for investigation of aggravated theft and aggravated identity theft. Her bail was set at $105,000.
In a statement, police say they investigated after business owners at Mustard Press contacted them last July. Detectives found more than 60 fraudulent checks, each signed with a business owner’s name. The checks dated back to 2009.
It was not known late Wednesday whether Floyd was represented by a lawyer.
