Attempted robbery reported in Vancouver

A man wearing a ski mask tried to forcibly take someone’s car keys Monday night in Vancouver.

The robbery was reported at 10:17 p.m. at 11515 N.E. 49th St. in the North Image neighborhood after the man unsuccessfully tried to grab the keys from the victim.

The suspect was described as a black man, 6 feet tall with a heavy build, according to the Vancouver Police Department. He was wearing a knit ski mask that covered his face and had holes around the eyes and mouth. He also wore a black shirt and black sweatpants.

Police were not able to find a suspect.
