It’s no secret Marshawn Lynch doesn’t enjoy talking to the media.

But don’t get him wrong. He’s no Rasheed Wallace, who had a genuine hatred of reporters on the Portland Trail Blazers beat.

Lynch spoke for just over six minutes of his required 60 minutes Tuesday at Super Bowl Media Day. But he gave a much more revealing interview to Michael Silver of NFL.com, in which he discussed his reluctance to talk publicly.

“I’ve never seen anybody win the game in the media. But at the same time, I understand what it could do for you, if you wanted to be someone who talks a lot. But that’s not me.

“I’m not as comfortable, especially at the position I play, making it about me. As a running back, it takes five offensive linemen, a tight end, a fullback and possibly two wide receivers, in order to make my job successful. But when I do interviews, most of the time it’ll come back to me.”

Hey everyone, no worries: There are still plenty of tickets available for the Super Bowl.

Of course the game is sold out, but the secondary market has a number of tickets. They’re cheap, too. Well, if you consider $1,600 a ticket cheap.

That is, compared to recent Super Bowls.

A lot of reporters claim it is because of the cold weather, or at least the threat of cold weather. Anyway, the theory is fans do not want to sit outside in the cold, or they don’t want to spend $2,000 to do so.

We think it has more to do with geography than weather forecasts.

Two teams from the West not only made it to the Super Bowl, but the Super Bowl is being played at perhaps the most expensive place to visit. There are travel and hotel costs.

If this year’s game were in Phoenix or San Diego, our guess is the prices for secondary market game tickets would be a little bit higher.
