RIDGEFIELD — The Washington State Department of Transportation will close several off-ramps along northbound Interstate 5 today and Tuesday.

Intermittent off-ramp closures are planned from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday night of Northeast 179th Street (Exit 9), state Highway 502/Gee Creek Rest Area (Exit 11); state Highway 501/Ridgefield (Exit 14); and La Center Road/La Center (Exit 16).

Crews will complete work at one interchange before starting work at the other, so ramps at these consecutive interchanges will not be closed simultaneously.

I-5 drivers will also encounter nightly single- and double-lane closures throughout the project area Monday through Friday this week. The project extends from just north of the I-5/I-205 junction to the N. Fork Lewis River Bridge.

The work is weather dependent and may be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
