BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — Brett Bisping and Rob Poole scored 19 points apiece as Siena used a strong second half to come back and beat Fairfield 64-56 on Sunday.
Bisping made 7-of-11 shots and Poole connected on all 10 of his free-throw attempts for Siena (9-12, 5-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Poole also grabbed five rebounds and made four steals for the Saints.
Maurice Barrow led Fairfield (4-17, 1-9) with 15 points and Justin Jenkins added 13.
Fairfield led 31-25 at halftime but lost its lead for good after a three-point play by Bisping with 6:22 left to play. The Stags were outscored 39-25 in the second half.
Fairfield pulled within four points three times in the final 2 minutes but Siena had an answer each time. Poole made all six of his free throw attempts in the final 30 seconds to secure the win.
