WHITE CITY, Ore. — A Vancouver construction company says one of its supervisors has died at a Department of Veterans Affairs’ work site in the Southern Oregon community of White City.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports that Charles Ragan of Global Pacific Environmental says the White City man was 42. His name has not yet been released.

Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration spokeswoman Melanie Mesaros says the preliminary description her agency has received is that the man “was pinned to a wall by a dump truck” on Tuesday. The agency is investigating.

Global Pacific Environmental is working under contract for Texas-based Burton Construction Inc., which won a bid to renovate a building at the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City.
