ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Duke Mondy hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer and Oakland secured a 76-75 comeback over Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.

Oakland led 2-0 to start but trailed the rest of the way until Travis Bader made a 3-pointer with 4:20 to play. In the remaining minutes there were five lead changes and two ties. Illinois-Chicago was ahead by two with 4.4 seconds to go but Mondy responded with his 3 to end the game.

Mondy finished with 11 points and six steals, and Kahlil Felder led Oakland (8-14, 3-4 Horizon League) with 21 points.

Jordan Harks scored 21 points for Illinois-Chicago as the team shot 56 percent (28 of 50) from the floor. Despite accurate shooting, the Flames (5-16, 0-7) turned the ball over four times in the last 6 minutes — giving up eight points — and ended with 22 turnovers.
