Eight teams from five Clark County schools are competing in the 2014 Bonneville Power Administration Regional Science Bowl, the nation’s largest regional science bowl, over the next two Saturdays.
The middle school competition is today. The high school competition is Saturday, Feb. 1. Both competitions are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Franz Hall at the University of Portland, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd., Portland. Championship rounds begin at 4 p.m. in Buckley Center Auditorium. This is a free, public event.
Clark County teams represent Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience, Heritage, Mountain View, Skyview and Union high schools and Shahala Middle School.
Mountain View High School from Evergreen Public Schools has won the high school competition for the past two years.
