Boys basketball: Columbia River 66, Mountain View 49

Columbia River was able to take advantage of some fourth-quarter turnovers by Mountain View to pull away.

After losing by almost 40 points in the previous match-up, Mountain View came out aggressive and took it to a tough River team.

Mountain View had a 20-18 lead in the first half but Columbia River stormed back with an 8-0 run. Mountain View was within eight points in the fourth quarter until River pulled away late.

River was lead by 15 points from Torey Jones, 14 points from Joey Bean and a 17-point advantage at the free-throw line.

In only his third game on varsity, Mountain View’s Corey Henderson finished with a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
