HARRISON, N.J. (AP) — The New York Red Bulls have signed Spanish defender Armando.
Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh says Armando will give the team another experienced option at center back.
The 29-year-old most recently played for Spanish second division side, Cordoba, following a short stint at Mexico’s Veracruz. He had been with FC Barcelona’s B team for three year, playing in 51 games.
Armando has played with Motril, Malaga, Levante and FC Cartagena in Spain.
