Army defeats Colgate 66-63

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Dylan Cox scored 12 points, including a bucket for the lead in the final 21 seconds, as Army defeated Colgate 66-63 Wednesday night.

Cox led the Black Knights (10-8, 6-1 Patriot) in rebounds with 10. Kyle Wilson scored 15 points and Josh Herbeck came off the bench to add 16.

Down by nine early in the second period, Army went on a 17-4 run to lead 48-46 with 11 minutes to play. Colgate came back to go back up by one with 36 seconds on the clock. On the next Army possession, Cox missed a jumper, grabbed his own rebound, and sank a layup to put the Black Knights up 64-63 with 21 second to play. Wilson was fouled and hit 2 of 2 from the line as time ran out to seal the win for Army.

Ethan Jacobs led the Raiders (7-11, 1-6) with 22 points and five rebounds.
