SEATTLE (AP) — Mitch Bruneel scored 20 points, including the game-winning free throw, to lift Utah Valley to a 52-51 win over Seattle on Sunday.

In a close game that included nine lead changes and margins that never exceeded five points, Utah Valley (10-7, 4-0 Western Athletic Conference) fell behind after leading much of the second half before Bruneel was sent to the penalty line, where his first bucket tied the game at 51 and his second put the Wolverines back on top with just 2 second left.

Ben Aird and Holton Hunsaker contributed 11 points each for Utah Valley, which shot just 29 percent from the field but made up for it with 11-for-14 penalty shooting. Aird made it a double-double with 12 rebounds.

Seattle (9-9, 1-4) took the lead twice in the final 4 minutes but couldn’t protect it.

Deshaun Sunderhaus led the Redhawks with 12 points and seven rebounds.
