Morehead State defeats UT-Martin 82-75

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Angelo Warner scored 25 points, making 8 of 12 field goals, to lead Morehead State to an 82-75 victory over Tennessee-Martin Saturday.

Jordan Percell added 13 points, Brent Arrington had 12, Greg Dotson 11 and Chad Posthumus 10 for Morehead State (13-7, 4-1 Ohio Valley Conference).

UT-Martin (6-15, 1-5), which has now lost seven of its last eight games, held a 14-11 advantage with 7:44 remaining in the first half. The Eagles then had a 12-1 run to lead 23-15 with 4:56 remaining.

Morehead State held a 65-53 advantage with 7:27 left in the game when the Skyhawks went on a 13-4 run to close to 69-66 with 3:40 remaining.

Mike Liabo, who had 32 points, hit a 3-pointer with 3:26 remaining in the game to close the gap to 71-69. Drew Kelly answered with a 3-point jump shot to give Morehead State a 74-69 lead.
