Howard dominates Maryland-Eastern Shore 88-55

WASHINGTON (AP) — James Daniel totaled 33 points, hitting 6 of 12 from beyond the 3-point arc, as Howard dominated Maryland-Eastern Shore 88-55 Saturday.

Prince Okoroh scored 19 points, James Miller added 12 and Tyler Stone had 10 for Howard (4-15, 2-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).

Howard jumped out to an early lead and had a commanding 52-24 advantage at the half. The Bison shot 54.8 percent from the field in the first half while limiting Maryland-Eastern Shore to just 7 of 25. The Bison also made 5 of 8 shots from beyond the arc in the first half.

The Bison also scored 25 points off turnovers, compared to just seven for the Hawks (2-14, 0-2).

UMES has now lost 12 games in a row.

KyRee Jones led UMES with 13 points.
