MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins agreed to one-year contracts with two of their three players in arbitration: third baseman Trevor Plouffe and left-handed reliever Brian Duensing.

Plouffe agreed to a $2.35 million deal, and Duensing accepted $2 million.

The Twins announced the contracts on Friday. That left right-handed reliever Anthony Swarzak as the only Minnesota player in arbitration.

Plouffe batted .254 last season with 14 home runs, down from 24 the year before, and 52 RBIs in 477 at-bats. He had 13 errors in his second year as an everyday player. Selected as a shortstop in the first round of the 2004 amateur draft, Plouffe has also been used in right field and at second base.

Duensing had a 3.78 ERA in 61 innings last season.
