TORONTO (AP) — The Blue Jays agreed to a trio of one-year contract with players in salary arbitration, giving outfielder Colby Rasmus $7 million, right-hander Esmil Rogers $1.85 million and left-hander Brett Cecil $1.3 million.
Rasmus hit .276 last year with 22 homers and 66 RBIs. Cecil, an AL All-Star reliever, was 5-1 with a 2.82 ERA and 70 strikeouts, while Rogers went 5-9 with a 4.77 ERA.
The deals were announced Friday.
