INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Colts long snapper Matt Overton has been added to this year’s Pro Bowl roster.
Team officials said Wednesday it will be Overton’s first appearance in the NFL’s annual all-star game.
The second-year NFL player joins an expanding list of Colts heading to Hawaii. NFL sacks champion Robert Mathis was the only Colts player initially chosen to play in the game.
On Monday, coach Chuck Pagano told reporters that Indy’s coaching staff would coach one of the teams. And it’s possible other players could soon be added to the roster, too, based on those who opt out or cannot play because they’ll be preparing for the Super Bowl.
