GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) — Women’s World Cup ski races scheduled for Jan. 25-26 in the southern German resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen have been canceled because of a lack of snow.
Organizers say the men’s races slated for one week later remain unaffected, as local officials hope for snowfall before then.
A downhill and a super-G had been scheduled for Garmisch. There was no immediate word on when and where the races would be rescheduled.
