Three people were injured in a head-on crash involving a school bus Monday morning, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

The crash was reported at 7:12 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 28th Street and Northeast 148th Avenue, down the street from Burton Elementary School.

The driver of the sedan suffered a facial injury and was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

Two students riding the bus were also taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, Kapp said. She did not know how many people were on board.
