Ohio State upsets No. 22 Indiana 70-51

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Ameryst Alston tied a career-high with 29 points Saturday and Ohio State upset a cold-shooting No. 22 Indiana 70-51, snapping a program-best 14-0 winning streak for the Hoosiers.

The Hoosiers (14-1, 1-1 Big 10 Conference) shot just 28.8 percent (17 of 59) compared with 53.4 percent (31 of 58) for the Buckeyes.

Raven Ferguson came off the bench to score a career-high 18 for Ohio State, and Martina Ellerbe added 10.

Ohio State (12-7, 2-1) led 39-29 at halftime, with the Buckeyes shooting 62.1 percent to 40.7 percent for the Hoosiers.

Indiania State was scoreless for nearly four minutes in the second half and had made only six points at the 13:36 mark. They ripped an 11-0 run, including a Karlee McBride trey, but Ohio State replied with three quick buckets and the Hoosiers didn’t make a basket for four more minutes.

Larryn Brooks led Indiana with 11 points.
