Montague leads Yale past Baruch, 88-49

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Jack Montague hit four 3-pointers on his way to 15 points as Yale played its final non-conference game with an 88-49 victory Saturday over Division III Baruch College.

Yale (6-8) snapped a four-game losing streak. Montague, who returned after missing the previous game against Vermont due to injury, played a season-high 21 minutes. He finished 5 of 5 from the floor with six assists.

Isaiah Salafia scored a 3-pointer to give Yale a 16-14 lead with 10:31 to play in the first half. The Bulldogs closed the first half on a 39-10 run.

Yale finished 13 of 21 (61.9 percent) from 3-point range. Greg Kelly scored nine points, all coming from beyond the arc. Matt Townsend added 10 points.

Baruch College was led by Raymond De La Cruz and Granville Gittens, who both scored 10 points for the Bearcats.
