MIAMI (AP) — Cleveland Browns assistant general manager Ray Farmer has become the fourth candidate to interview for the Miami Dolphins’ job of general manager.

Farmer joined the Browns in March after seven seasons in the Chiefs’ front office. Last season, Farmer assisted general manager Michael Lombardi in overseeing the Browns’ pro and college scouting departments.

In Kansas City, Farmer worked with Carl Peterson, a former Chiefs executive who is helping Dolphins owner Stephen Ross with their search. The Dolphins and GM Jeff Ireland parted ways Tuesday after six seasons.

Interviewed earlier for the job were Steelers director of football and business administration Omar Khan, Cardinals vice president of player personnel Jason Licht and Dolphins assistant general manager Brian Gaine.
