Boys basketball: Prairie 75, Mountain View 53

The visiting Falcons scored 17 consecutive points over the final five minutes of the first quarter to establish a 15-point lead.

James Phillips led four Prairie in double figures with 25 points. Ronnie McPherson added 15 points, Cairo Jackson 13 and Mason Pack 12 for the Falcons.

Alex Torson scored 17 for Mountain View and Jake Ryan added 14.

The Thunder trailed by 13 entering the fourth quarter. After they missed a good look at the basket on their first possession of the fourth quarter, Prairie hit a 3-pointer to extend the margin to 16 and re-establish momentum.
