Belmont rolls past UT Martin 87-72

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Craig Bradshaw scored 22 points and J.J. Mann added 19 to lead Belmont as it rolled past Tennessee-Martin 87-72 on Saturday, remaining unbeaten in conference play.

Bradshaw went 5 of 5 from the line and sank 8 of 12 from the field to help the Bruins hit 62.8 percent overall.

Evan Bradds came off the bench to score 18 points with five rebounds for the Bruins (12-6, 4-0 Ohio Valley Conference). Reece Chamberlain chipped in with 13.

Belmont outscored UT-Martin 11-4 to start the first period on its way to a 46-23 advantage by halftime. The Bruins continued to lead by double digits throughout the second period.

A Myles Taylor layup with 3:19 left — UT-Martin’s final field goal of the game — brought the Skyhawks to within 11 before time ran out.

Dee Oldham and Terence Smith each scored 15 points for the Skyhawks (5-14, 0-4).
