Skills Center students prepare dinner

The Clark County Skills Center Foundation presents a five-course gourmet dinner prepared by students in the Skills Center Restaurant Management/Culinary Arts program at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Skills Center Restaurant, 12200 N.E. 28th St. The program is affiliated with the American Culinary Federation.

The “Winter Wonderland” menu features roasted pork loin with forest mushroom demi glace, red garnet sweet potato hash, and dense silky chocolate torte with raspberry crème. Tickets cost $30, and $10 is tax deductible. Tickets must be purchased in advance through Barbara Ainslie in the foundation office, 360-604-1050, ext. 2169.

Proceeds will provide updated technology, enhanced learning opportunities, and scholarships for graduating Skills Center students.
