ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Evan Hymes scored 17 points off the bench to spark Siena to a 67-58 win over Marist Friday night.

Eric Truog’s layup with 9:04 left in the game pulled the Red Foxes within six points, 48-42, but Siena responded with an 8-0 run that pushed the lead to 14 and the Saints converted 6 of 7 free throws in the final minute to secure the win.

The Saints struggled from the field, shooting just 17 of 44 (38.6 percent), but Hymes added a hot-hand off the bench by shooting 5 of 10, including a 3-pointer on two long-range attempts.

Brett Bisping and Rob Poole added 16 and 15 points, respectively for Siena (6-9, 2-2 Metro Atlantic).

Khallid Hart led Marist (5-9, 2-2 Metro Atlantic), hitting 4 of 8 from 3-point range. Jay Bowie and Chavaughn Lewis each added 11 points.
