Tulsa blows by Tulane 97-91

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Shaquille Harrison scored 15 of his 23 points in the first half and finished with 6 assists as Tulsa picked up a win over Tulane 97-71 Thursday night.

Tulsa (6-9, 1-2 Conference USA) hit 22 of 33 (66.7 percent) field goals in the first half and took a 60-32 lead into the break.

Tulsa led Tulane (8-8, 0-1 USA) for the entire game and boosted their lead to 35 points in the second half, 95-60, on a James Woodard three-pointer with just under four minutes remaining. Tulsa shot 57 percent for the game and made 11 of 23 3-pointers. Tulsa also won the rebound contest 34-24.

Louis Dabney led Green Wave scorers with 17 points and Jonathan Stark added 14 points.

D’Andre Wright finished with 18 points and eight rebounds for Tulsa. Lew Evans finished with 14 points; Tim Peete had 12 and Woodard 11.
