SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Lee Skinner scored 27 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and had four assists as Wofford topped The Citadel 79-75 in overtime Thursday night.

Spencer Collins added 14 points for Wofford (7-8, 2-1 Southern Conference).

Karl Cochran made one of two free throws with 1:46 left in overtime to give the Terriers a 77-75 lead and Quinton Marshall missed a pair of free throws with 14 seconds remaining that would have tied the game at 77. Collins hit one of two from the charity stripe before Ashton Moore missed a potentially game-tying 3-pointer with 2 seconds left before Skinner closed out the scoring.

Wofford out-rebounded The Citadel 39-25, including 17-7 on the offensive glass, en route to a 48-26 advantage in points in the paint while leading 17-6 in second-chance points.

Matt Van Scyoc paced the Bulldogs (4-13, 0-2) with 22 points, hitting six of The Citadel’s 10 3-pointers.
