BRIDAL VEIL, Ore. — Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is closed for safety reasons, the U.S. Forest Service announced Thursday.
The trail leading to the bridge is closed at both ends until repairs are completed.
Larch Mountain trail No. 441 is closed from Multnomah Falls viewing plaza to Gorge trail No. 400 until further notice.
Benson Bridge spans the lower cascade of Multnomah Falls. It is 45 feet long.
