NEW YORK (AP) — Hot Splash won at 7-1 odds, pulling away for an 11-length victory Thursday in the $59,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.
Leading by four lengths turning for home, Hot Splash routed her rival New York-bred fillies and mares, improving to 5 for 19. The 5-year-old ridden by Jose Ortiz for trainer Jason Servis ran 1/16 miles in 1:43.49 on the fast track.
Hot Splash paid $17.40, $6.10 and $5.30. Gloria Victoria, the 3-2 favorite, returned $3.60 and $3.40, and while Marcy paid $12 to show.
