Sturgeon angling started slowly in the Bonneville pool of the Columbia River with boaters averaging a legal fish per 11.4 rods and bank anglers averaging a keeper per 26 rods.
Blustery weather part of the time made angling a chore.
Winter steelhead fishing is slow in the Cowlitz and Washougal rivers.
Battle Ground Lake was stocked with 41 brood stock rainbow trout averaging 5 pounds and 35 trout averaging 10 pounds.
