Binghamton overwhelms New Hampshire 67-38

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Nick Madray scored 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting and Yosef Yacob had eight with 12 assists as Binghamton rolled past New Hampshire 67-38 Thursday night.

The Bearcats (4-11, 1-1 America East Conference) shot 53.2 percent from the field and hit 10 3-pointers. Marlon Beck scored 11 points and Jordan Reed added 10. Madray was 4 of 4 beyond the arc.

New Hampshire (2-13, 0-2) was just 11 of 45 (24.4 percent) on field goal attempts and was outscored in the paint 24-8. Frank Okeke scored eight points and Jacoby Armstrong had seven with six rebounds.

Binghamton pulled ahead early, jumping out to a 16-2 lead capped by a Karon Walker 3-pointer near the midway mark in the first half. New Hampshire trailed by double digits the rest of the way, as the Bearcats coasted to 33-13 halftime lead. Binghamton led by as many as 33 during the second half.
