CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — J.J. Mann scored 25 points, Craig Bradshaw added 24 and Belmont cruised to a 107-94 victory over Southeast Missouri on Thursday night.
Belmont combined to make 17 3-pointers after shooting 65.4 percent behind the arc, and made 38 of 60 (63.3 percent) from the floor. The Bruins (11-6, 3-0 Ohio Valley Conference) also finished with 19 points off turnovers, compared to Southeast Missouri’s four points.
The Redhawks scored the first basket of the game, but Belmont quickly pushed ahead and stayed in control of the lead for the rest of the matchup.
Jarekious Bradley scored 27 points to lead the Redhawks, and Josh Langford followed close behind with 22 points on perfect 10-of-10 shooting. Southeast Missouri (8-8, 0-3) could not match Belmont’s high-percentage shooting and combined to shoot 57.6 percent from the floor and 43.5 percent from distance (10 of 23).
