Wilson leads Army over Lehigh 79-76

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Kyle Wilson scored 23 points, including four free throws in the final 15 seconds, to lead Army to a 79-76 victory over Lehigh on Wednesday night.

The Black Knights (7-7, 3-0) went to 3-0 in the Patriot League for the first time.

Tanner Plomb added 14 points and Kevin Ferguson and Mo Williams 10 apiece for Army, which won its fourth straight game.

Mackey McKnight led the Mountain Hawks (8-8, 1-2) with 19 points. Corey Schaefer added 13, Tim Kempton 12 and Austin Price 11 for Lehigh, which lost to Army for the first time in six meetings.

Army took an eight-point lead early in the second half but Lehigh grabbed the lead at 11:49. The lead changed hands four more times until Williams’ 3-pointer put Army up for good at 6:58. With Army up 75-74 and 15 seconds left, Wilson sandwiched four free throws around two by Lehigh.
