Mason Pack scored a career-high 21 points as the Falcons opened league play with a home-floor victory.
Pack scored 17 points in the first half. Prairie outscored Kelso 21-10 in the second quarter — which ended with a Jacob Davidson bank shot from near half court at the buzzer — to lead by 12 at the break.
James Phillips scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Falcons. Cairo Jackson tallied 14 points for Prairie, and Ronnie McPherson added 11. Pack had seven rebounds.
Blake Hampton scored 29 points for Kelso and was 9 for 10 from the foul line. He hit a pair of 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter to pull the Hilanders within 10 points, but the Falcons pulled away from there.
