PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to a minor league contract with outfielder Chris Dickerson that includes an invitation to major league spring training.
The 31-year-old Dickerson hit .238 with four home runs and 13 RBIs with Baltimore in 2013.
Dickerson is a .262 career hitter with 15 homers and 60 RBIs in 314 games for Cincinnati, Milwaukee, the New York Yankees and the Orioles.
The Pirates are looking for outfield depth and Dickerson has experience at all three outfield positions.
