LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Chris Hass scored a career-high 26 points as Bucknell held off a late run by Colgate and won 68-57 on Sunday afternoon.
Colgate trailed by 16 points at the half, but whittled the deficit to two after free throws by Ethan Jacobs with 3:57 left to play. The Bison (6-7, 1-1 Patriot) responded with a 13-4 run to close out the game.
Hass made four of Bucknell’s seven 3-pointers. Steven Kaspar added 10 rebounds.
The Raiders (6-7, 0-2) shot their second-lowest percentage of the season in the first half, 36 percent from the floor and 11 percent from 3-point range. They pulled their final shooting percentage up to 43.8 percent, but made just one 3-pointer and went 8.3 percent on long range.
Austin Tillotson finished with 15 points for the Raiders. Ethan Jacobs and Damon Sherman-Newsome both added nine.
