NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Ricardo Louis and Chris Davis changed their lives and Auburn’s season with two unforgettable plays.

Louis made the Immaculate Deflection against Georgia and Davis beat Alabama on a Kick Six.

The plays helped launch the second-ranked Tigers into Monday night’s BCS championship game against No. 1 Florida State at the Rose Bowl.

Davis is a starting cornerback and the nation’s No. 2-ranked punt returner. He says his “life has changed a lot” since the Iron Bowl return of a missed field goal. He’s trying to put that moment behind him but it’s hard when it’s replayed so often.

Louis is a sophomore receiver trying to savor the attention and keep it in perspective.

Says Louis: “Every time I meet somebody new, they always tell me their reaction to that play.”
