Incarnate Words tops Our Lady of the Lake 100-85

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Kyle Hittle scored 31 points, leading Incarnate Word to its seventh consecutive win with a 100-85 victory over Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday.

Incarnate Word (12-1) took a 46-36 halftime advantage and led by as many as 19 in the second half over Our Lady of the Lake (5-6).

The Saints came within 64-56 midway through the second half before Incarnate Word put together a 14-3 run and maintained a double digit lead the rest of the way.

The NAIA Saints kept pace early and trailed 28-26 with 5:03 left in the first half until Incarnate Word used a 10-2 run on its way to the halftime lead.

Incarnate Word shot 56.9 percent from the field, including 54 points in the paint. Denzel Livingston had 17 points while Anthony Horton and Mitchell Badillo each added 14 points.

Xavier Roberson had 23 points for the Saints.
