ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — The men’s basketball game scheduled for Saturday between Barber-Scotia and Winthrop was postponed because of bad weather in the northeast.
According to the Winthrop athletic website, Barber-Scotia head coach Marcus Pryor told Winthrop head coach Pat Kelsey on Friday that the bad weather kept five Barber-Scotia players from being able to return to the school after the holiday break. With two other players out with injuries, Barber-Scotia did not have enough players to play the game, which was scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Winthrop Coliseum in South Carolina.
A reschedule date has not yet been determined.
