Scattered clouds from an incoming weather system created a spectacular sunset Thursday in Southwest Washington.

The clouds were part of a system expected to bring up to a quarter inch of rain to the area overnight.

Skies are expected to clear Friday morning, with a high near 47. Mostly sunny skies are expected through the weekend, with a chance of rain returning Monday night.
