FRISCO, Texas (AP) — North Dakota State has a chance for a perfect ending and a third consecutive FCS championship.

The undefeated Bison try for the first 15-win season in school history Saturday in the Championship Subdivision title game in Frisco, Texas.

They play championship game first-timer Towson (13-2) at the North Texas soccer stadium that each January is transformed for the championship game.

This is the final game with the Bison for 11th-year coach Craig Bohl, who last month accepted the Wyoming coaching job. It is also the finale for senior quarterback Brock Jensen, whose 46 career victories are already the most ever by any FCS starting quarterback.

Appalachian State is the only team that has won three consecutive FCS titles. There hasn’t been an undefeated FCS champion since Marshall in 1986.
