Boys basketball: Mark Morris 67 Fort Vancouver 51

Nine players scored for the visiting Monarchs, who built an early lead in the non-league game.

Mark Morris led 16-4 after one quarter and held a 19-point halftime lead. Fort Vancouver pulled within 10 points late in the third quarter, but cold shooting from the perimeter prevented the Trappers from challenging the visitors from Longview. Fort Vancouver (4-6) missed all 15 of its 3-point shots in the game.

Tre Eisenhut scored 24 points for the Trappers and Will Doty had 11 points, 12 rebounds and three steals. Grant Gibb led Mark Morris with 18 points.
